not necessarily....if your are in a car accident and end up in the ER and they do a neck x-ray and it is read by one radiologist and then you end up dying b/c the surgeon nicks your aorta while doing abdominal surgery...the radiologist had nothing to do with your death, but will still be sued

as i said before EVERY doctor who looked at you will be sued not only the surgeon who nicked your aorta. just b/c a name is in a chart does not mean that the doctor had anything to do with the death

the legal system is not like other markets...with insurance and huge payouts by LAY people it is a greed driven system

if you really want for the medical profession to "govern" itself then implement torte reform also.... litigation has much to do with the cost of medicine and it has everything to do with how doctors practice medicine

yeah and good idea---have a bunch of lawyers who have NO FREAKING clue about medicine and the human body to be the ones overseeing and regulating the medical system....sure, why not.

Socialism is
insidious. And it seems
to have taken hold

of even your mind.
"Lay" people are not stupid,
and "greed" ain't evil.

The Left in large part
is fueled by academics
who view the whole world

by the axioms
you have built your posts around.
But do not worry!

If doctors who work
for the AMA are bad,
we can just all go

get medical care
from Vince McMahon's XMA --
they've got rad nurses!
