UNH bans all firearms on campus, including those inside cars driving through campus. Self-defense is not an option.
So did mine. I always figured it was better to live and face charges than die by abiding too many laws.
Who cares what UNH has to say on the matter? New Hampshire state law is what counts, and New Hampshire is pretty libertarian about guns.
This particular fraternity is described as one not recognized by the University. I'm guessing it's not on or adjacent to University property, so the gun restrictions wouldn't apply.
