ROFL!!!
I just got off the turnip truck. Did I miss anything important?
Yup..a blatant attempt to eviscerate presidential power..they are really grasping at straws..
He is borderline Rino.
Ugh - Senator Depends is up.

I don't know what event will mark the Senate meeting on the 24th, which time fits into Rule XXII language, "one hour after the Senate meets on the following calendar day but one, he shall lay the motion before the Senate and direct that the clerk call the roll ..."
Hatch has on occasion been borderline RINO, but on this issue he's been solid.
If it is so wrong why would a secret ballot make any difference.
DGIH, I am FOFL!! Somehow we all knew it would come to this. Byrd ends his career with his arms flailing and a pancake on his head! Maybe it's a ho-cake, 'cause he's one of the biggest hos the Senate has ever produced.
Let me be clear. I am not having this argument again over the definition of the term "RINO", it already occupied the first of the thread.
I do not consider Hatch to be a Republican in name only. I am PROUD at his behavior and speeches this past week. I thank him for his solid defense.
If anyone wishes to go after Hatch, or Frist, or the president...please leave me out of it. I'm only interested in focusing on the people in that cloak room trying to usurp the president's powers.
I'll ask a stoopit question: why are they scheduled to go through the overnight?
I agree on judges he has been strong.
You ask the easier question.
Dan
Where the hell was he four years ago? He suddenly feel the heat on the pads of his feet and change his tune?
None of these Senate Republicans are solid anything. They don't even have backbone, until they're told to GET SOME.
The worm turned while you were gone.
Something else I didn't know.... they talked about the number of times that Hatch as chairman of the judiciary committee kept Clinton nominees from passing through committee..... I've got to commend him for that.
C-span's live prime time coverage of this crucial Senate session will be sponsored by IKEA, who will show you how, easily and cheaply, you can turn a big room into a dormitory..
Step back? He should be enjoying his retirement and the few years he's got left instead of being a mothball and a bugger, lol.
Look to post 1111.
I have no interest in being the sounding board for attacking those that are solidly on our side in a crucial vote. Discuss it with someone that is.
