Can't blame it on McCain. He's just one Senator.

Is he still in the Republicans caucus? Hasn't been expelled from the party yet?

No?

Then I blame the Republican party.

Make no mistake people, conservatives are being kept out of the judiciary in the same exact manner as were the black children kept from Southern schools in the Jim Crow era.

By some of the same people, too.

At his very best, Frist is a limp wrist RINO. He is in charge, lay the blame at his feet.

Ditto what Dobson said.
The one thing I cannot figure out is why Pryor was one of the three protected nominees? That pandering punk is the first one I would have dumped after the way he stabbed his "friend" Judge Roy Moore, as well as America herself, right in the back.

Who were the other 13 senators who sold out the country, besides McCain, and in return got nothing that we didn't already have?

So what? The Judicial nominees get an up or down vote, and Frist keeps the threat of the nuclear option until the next time the obstructionists threaten a filibuster.

"We are grateful to Majority Leader Frist for courageously fighting to defend the vital principle of basic fairness. That principle has now gone down to defeat. We share the disappointment, outrage and sense of abandonment felt by millions of conservative Americans who helped put Republicans in power last November. I am certain that these voters will remember both Democrats and Republicans who betrayed their trust."

Ditto here. I have no desire to punish Frist or the others that held the line. My fury is on the cabal and I want them to pay dearly. make them bleed and regret the day they ever betrayed our constitution and the people that put them in power.

"Can't blame it on McCain. He's just one Senator"

BS. He has the visibility to give cover to the other followers. He is not singularly to blame, but he is more than equally to blame.

You are damned straight about that, Dr. Dobson.

So Dr., are you willing to convey the message that we're going to replace those pretending to be Republican leaders.

Theoretically, Pryor's there because of some connection to Hillary. At least I have heard that alleged.

This makes him sound pretty conservative, though.

Dobson bitches too much for my tastes. Is is that time of the month?

In this deal the American people are the big winners. There are no losers. Look on the bright side. The Bolten nomination is dead now.

Because Democrats know that Pryor is an ambitious little snot, and after a few years on the unelected federal bench he'll turn into another activist judge they can use.
