Laz-I seem to recall you making a similar statement when CFR was passed and Bush signed it (BTW I thought you were right then). Now, I am not so certain. If we would have used the big stick we would have come off looking like bullies. The Pubbies will probably gain seats in the 06 senate races and the Rats will have to give more and more ground. Republicans will not even talk about the nuclear option again The media will cast them as liars who broke their agreement with the Democrats and the American people if they even bring it up. NO RINOs and many regular Republicans avoid the risk of media backlash. They will not support the nuclear option. Bill Frist lied. He said he had the votes when he did not. NO Republican in the Senate with a brain will ever follow him again. People do not follow those that lie through their teeth while leading them into defeat.
