Mother Teresa would be the last person to say she was "perfect".
But if she were hungry she still would offer her last piece of bread to another, including you LLB, despite the mistruths you erroneously choose to believe about her.
You're better than this, kid. Look into the facts of the matter and quit trying to deny that on this earth there are indeed very holy people.
Note and advice: Don't fall for Christopher Hitchens's intellectual elite Oxford accent and his sometimes-falling-in-line with conservatives. He has an agenda, and it's not pretty. Just look at his eyes... They're like Oliver Stone's.
Thanks.
If you compare Lenin to Mother Theresa you are a serious nutcase. Somehow I suspected as much. Thanks for the proof.
You are very wise. We all say dumb things when you're young and stupid.
So this makes it okay to forget your manners?
Wait a second he's not. He bashed Farenheight 911 but he's a left winger alright.
YES! Thank you!
Ah, Lenin's body was embalmed and preserved. The saints whose bodies are "incorruptible" were not. Big difference.
Let me give you a little advise one of my elders gave me when I was 20 years old and on a soap box:
"Stop embarrassing yourself by display your juvenile ignorance for all the world to see."
I wasn't the one who compared Mother Teresa to Lenin!
From a website, A tribute to Mother Teresa, her life and the legacy she left behind. "It is not how much we do, but how much love we put in the doing. It is not how much we give, but how much love we put in the giving."
She dedicated every day of her adult life caring for "The dying, the cripple, the mentally ill, the unwanted, the unloved" and she loved every minute of it because she was loving, she was cleaning, feeding "Jesus in disguise". Yes, she fed them, sheltered them, cleaned their wounds, but what is more important she made them feel good, loved, wanted, she gave them back their dignity that poverty had taken away from them and even if they died they died with a smile on their face....somebody loves them, somebody cares for them .
One of them, the big one, is an atheist, I've been told. Might explain the lack of reverence. Never like them before, and sure can't stand them now.
I'm not dumb or stupid. I just fell for Christopher Hitchens.
I am not religious but I cannot imagine anyone, Jew or Gentile, believer or non-believer mocking Mother Theresa. Who does one have to be to escape the wrath of these pigs?
Are you sure you want an 18 yo's world view? Thanks I'll pass...
Penn and Teller? Why would anybody watch those two disgusting, and very unfunny, air wasters? They should consider the source.
No. I don't want to take care of Lepors!
Wow that's a real whopper of a mistake but oh well. We all make mistakes.
Let's not discourage, or worse, alienate these youths. Miss Braswell post a lot more good than she does bad.
And at least she knows who Mother Teresa is. I'd venture to bet the majority of kids her age do not.
