A kind new world where men will rise above their hate and brutality.

Tell that to the islamic radicals who want to destroy our way of life. Maybe, if we all hold hands and sing, things will be okay. Yeah, right.

A little OT for this thread, but yeah, unfortunatly there are times you have to fight snd I do support the war on the Islamofascists and any others who want to destroy our way of life. I think Chaplin did provide for that in his speech, "fight for liberty" where you do have to get down and fight. Maybe some of what he said cannot be reached but I think we can learn a lot from it. Charlie Chaplin was a pacifist but he did change as World War II came along to the point where we do have to fight, too bad many don't get that. There are times I just think we need to turn the Middle East into glass but I do hope with what we are doing in Iraq and Afghanistan can maybe turn the average person over there into a better person. As to the terrorists and so on, blow 'em all away, everytime I see our people get killed over there on film and so on, there is a side of me that wishes I could get into the TV to where they are and let them all have it with a shotgun and send them to Allah myself. It's a shame we don't live in an ideal world but we must leave room for the good. It is a tough balance.
