Actually, no I don't advocate socialism. Socialism leads to laziness and and thus a bad economy. I do advocate Henry Ford's policy that the workers should be well compensated so they can afford a decent life while the company also makes a profit. I don't think Walmart would be such an issue if we had an expanding middle income jobs like in manufacturing. But many people feel they are declining (that is the perception anyway) and Walmart is seen by many rightly or wrongly) as the only employer in town these days.
