How can you possibly blame WALMART for all the ills in the world?

I DON'T.

You must at least get an employee discount at Wal Mart or your parents help you, or you have something stashed away from somewhere. If you qualify for government assistance, even if you don't take it, you must be in one of the lower income brackets. Maybe you live in a part of the country where that is still possible.

In my part of the country where housing is still fairly cheap compared to most other places except the south, one person on Wal Mart wages, excepting managers, could not support four people unless their car was paid off and their house was paid off and they had zero debt and even then may not be able to make it.

Aliska -- your concern just about breaks my heart. But the fact of the matter is, you are talking about very, very large and complex economic systems. And Wal-Mart is only one small piece of it. But it is the environment we are living in right now and people will either have to learn to adapt or sink ever lower.

Excuse me!

My parents don't help me,since they are living in Germany and are both retired and have no money to give to me ,neither do my parents in law!

I have no money stashed away and find your comments insulting!

I do get a discount of 10%,but I don't buy everything at WALMART,so don't give me that BS!

I qualify for the programs, but would only receive about 50$ in food stamps,if I chose to apply for them or only a minimal assistance for health care!

It is possible to make it on the income I receive from my work,if you know how to budget your money and only purchase what is necessary!

I have learned this from my parents and believe me we didn't have much money when I grew up,but my parents managed to provide for us just fine and I learned a valuable lesson that my kids are learning as well!

Money isn't everything it's what you make out of your live and with the money you have!

We own a cheap old clunker of a car and have an old mobile home we were able to to purchase with my wages, but I don't see why that would be any of your business!

My Dad taught me that "where there is a will there is a way "and you know he is right!
