My aunt died of lung cancer at 44 years old. She to was a nurse, did not smoke, nor did her husband or her parents before him. If she was not in her smoke free home she was at the smoke free hospital or at her smoke free church. DEAD AT 44 YEARS OLD without smoking or being around smoking. Go figure. I don't know how she managed it.

Did it metastasize from another original site? I am sorry for all of your losses. I know how difficult it is. My late husband died four years ago of Multiple Myeloma which is cancer of the plasma cells of the Bone Marrow.
