Sealing our borders is no a real option. It would be impossible. The only realistic solutions involve some type of guest worker program. I seem to remember you posting that you were not yet a citizen of The United States. So what's up? Are you in line for a loan too?

"Do you buy goods or services from any companies that employ illegal aliens? If so you are as morally responsible for facilitating the residency of illegal aliens as a bank that loans them money."
Now let's study what you just said here.
I have attempted to turn in illegals many times over the last 10 years. Not once has anything been done about it, and twice I was close to being reprimanded for having done so.
"
"Do you buy goods or services from any companies that employ illegal aliens?
Not knowingly, but the estimate in Ventura County where I live is 150,000 illegal mexicans in a population of 800,000, and I am certain 75000 are in the city right next to mine, so you tell me!!
"If so you are as morally responsible for facilitating the residency of illegal aliens as a bank that loans them money."
So there is no distinction between me shopping at a grocery store that might have illegals in the shipping area, and Bank of America openly advertising and soliciting for illegal immigrants? Maybe the Administration Mods will not find this as mortifying as I do. Give em a jingle, and stop wasting our threads.

Banks are the second biggest crooks in the world, Wall Street investment houses, like Goldman Sachs are the first.

Obviously, you know little or nothing about law, and positively nothing about banking laws.

Are you certain that logic is allowed on this thread? It is an anti illegal immigrant you know.Well, I know one thing for sure. Using logic in an argument has no apparent effect on bayourod. He just continues to spew the same old recycled talking points that we're used to hearing from the pro-illegal immigration crowd. I have no doubt that bayourod will go to his grave still praising the virtues of illegal immigration.

I meant that they are soliciting for depositors who are illegal. I know they can't legallly write mortgage paper yet, but they are lobbying fiercely for it.

Of course you do.

Rounding up eleven million people and kicking them out of the country is not a real option in today's political and cultural climate. I agree. President Bush continues to allow in thousands from the Mid East on visas every month. Clearly 911 didn't alter policies or the cultural climate.

I'm still waiting for him to tell us why it's A-OK for any U.S. business to cater to, or knowingly hire illegals.
I am also waiting to hear why open borders are such a good political move, given the rising anger in the conservative base* at the Federal Government's apathy about illegal immigration.
*in other words, the people who write the checks and work for campaigns.

Wait until the IRS convinces the Congress that an ITN (Individual Taxpayer Number) is sufficient "ID" to get a loan. Then these mortgages will be legal.

"What this bank is doing is a clear violation of the U.S. Immigration and Nationality Act," Not to worry. I'm sure that now this is out in the open, the president will make it a high priority to see that they're prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. < /sarcasm >
