The German parliament passed it a couple days ago. It has also been passed by a few of the smaller countries.

"Only a bureaucrat could make a straight-faced assertion that, at 500+ pages, an EU constitution would 'streamline' anything." The problem is the existance of so many regulations in the first place, whether they are formally in a constitution or not. Our government proves that a short and basic constitution doesn't prevent the development of burdensome and numerous regulations.

Having read the endless pages of that dreadful "constitution," I think that its flaw is obvious. It spells out a gazillion so-called "rights" that the boys in Brussels will "respect" but it fails to include the only right that counts:
the right to be left alone.

We don´t want to lose sovereignty, but we want a united Europe in diversity. It is impossible to be united and have diversity. You cannot have 25 different languages and cultures and be "unified" it just does not work.

Hold on. There's an America expression that the photo is reminiscent of. An expression you are probably unfamiliar with. Wagglebee is not the kind of person to be insensitive to tragedy. You're mistaking the meaning.
