LAS VEGAS -- Protesters on Sunday gathered outside a meeting where members of a controversial civilian group that has been monitoring the Mexican border gathered with other activists seeking to curb illegal immigration. More than 150 demonstrators used placards and bullhorns and waved Mexican flags to get their message out: "Racists, go home!" they screamed.

Am I the only one who sees something wrong with this picture above?
If the above doesn't tell what's left of our culture to get off your arses and get involved, I don't know what it would take. The next step which is already being discussed in Universities and at La Raza ("The Race") meetings, etc. is that the Mexican Border isn't really where its been located for the last 150 years or so. In coming months and years, this talk will become mainstream that the Mexican Border was somehow illegally set where it is and that large parts of southern California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas are really part of Mexico and not the USA. The illegal alien, Mexican flag waiving population of these areas will vote to agree.
Gary Britt Viva La Blanca Raza !!!
No, there are tens of millions of US citizens who something terribly wrong but unfortunatley very few of them sit in elected seats.
I hope they keep on using those tactics. It just might wake people up.
A reporter then told JIm he was upsetting the crowd with the American Flag.
Screw that reporter. Their job is to report not to advise.....
You'll see anger in this thread, but the racism is in the story. These illegals are bad neighbors with 'self-values' and don't belong here.
8 USC Sec. 1325

(b) Improper time or place, civil penalties - Any alien who is apprehended while entering (or attempting to enter) the United States at a time or place other than as designated by immigration officers ......
shall be subject to a civil penalty of -
(1) at least $50 and not more than $250 for each such entry (or attempted entry); or
(2) twice the amount specified in paragraph (1) in the case of an alien who has been previously subject to a civil penalty under this subsection. Civil penalties under this subsection are in addition to, and not in lieu of, any criminal or other civil penalties that may be imposed.
(c) Marriage fraud - Any individual who knowingly enters into a marriage for the purpose of evading any provision of the immigration laws shall be imprisoned for not more than 5 years, or fined not more than $250,000 or both.
(d) Immigration-related entrepreneurship fraud - Any individual who knowingly establishes a commercial enterprise for the purpose of evading any provision of the immigration laws shall be imprisoned for not more than 5 years, fined in accordance with title 18, or both.
Section 1324a states:
"Any person who knowingly hires/harbors/transports any illegal alien is guilty of a felony punishable by 10 years jail + $2000 fine per illegal alien + forfeiture of the vehicle or property used to commit the crime".
Section 1324c states:
"All officers whose duty it is to enforce criminal laws shall have authority to make arrests for a violation of any provision of this section" (affirmed US v Perez-Gonzalez 2002 Fed App 0360, 6th Circ.).
Section 1644:
same title states, "No local ordinance, rule, or measure shall stop law enforcement officers from enforcement of this section" (affirmed Southern District Court of NY, US v Rudy Guiliani,1996).
If any of you know if one of these laws is being used, do post it. Other than the "trespass law", I don't know of any. Bussing them back over the border seems to be the only thing the illegal aliens are subject to however, many are not even picked up.
Those who have been entrusted with enforcing immigration law from top to bottom have failed this country miserably. The pro-illegals are pledging allegiance to a foreign flag and nation, got here illegally or are spokesmouths for those who are, and illegals particularly of the mexican variety are bleeding the US taxpayer and business person dry in the form of foreign wire transfers and unlimited access to costly social services. Their contribution to society is hyped by the media in Orwellian doublespeak, when in fact they are very costly social burden on many levels, not just economic. How will this nation survive with such parasites here?

I second that motion.
Great idea......But would NEVER happen with reporters around to film it.
Enough is enough, there is a most simple solution to the problem of illegal immigration, including those of the costs and efforts to deport Illegal immigrants.
An employer whom hires illegal workers, would be responsible for all cost of deporting said illegal workers, this to include all INS and court costs.
Under our rule of law, Ignorance is no excuse, having employers responsible for their actions is no different than such instances as; The selling of alcohol or tobacco to a minor without checking and verifying their ID, or, the selling of a firearm to a felon or minor without a background clearance. If the proper checks were not made, the sellers are subject to criminal and/or civil actions.
I would not expect the government to embrace (or for the MSM to give credence to) such a strategy. but perhaps class action lawsuits in the name of taxpayers (who ultimately bear all of the costs, both monetarily and socially) would began to garner attention and focus the light of day on as to whom is really responsible (the employers) for the dire predicament we find ourselves in.
If employers on the cheap did not have the welcome sign out for illegal workers, there would be no reason for them to come
EUPHEMISMS FOR ILLEGAL ALIENS:
Add this to the list. Our illustrious elected leftists here in Maryland gave them the name,"New Marylanders". How pathetic.
Ping!
Fortunately, there are only a couple of the FOQNA loons running around loose. And these particular loons are not among the best or brightest of the pack.
Funny they can't seem to work up any outrage over blatent foreign racism on our own soil...
"Racists, go home!"
I guess they want us to go to, ??/ Mexico? Does it make any sense for Mexicans to illegally cross our borders and then tell us 'legal americans' to 'Go Home' ? I suppose in the wacky world of liberal logic it does.
Hey, don't bash Maryland. Next you will be bashing the caring Baltimore Sun(BS). Did you know that the BS is having circulation problems? They have been raising their weekly rates each year thinking we would not notice it.
1999 =$13 (couldn't pass up, 2 papers per week)
2002 = $26
2003 = $40
2004= $80 (I dropped it, no longer free, 4 papers)
Now after 8 months they offered it to me back at $40 per year again. It's too late.
