Ford makes not only Ford, but also Lincoln, Mercury, Mazda, Volvo, Jaguar, and Land Rover. In case anyone missed that...

Action Alert: Let FORD know how you feel
Date: October 17, 2001
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
LET FORD HEAR THUNDER FROM GRASSROOTS AMERICA NOW!
Ford Motor Company recently granted the National Audubon Society $5 million. The Audubon Society has been actively pushing OHV closures for years and was one of the primary advocates of the Clinton/Gore Roadless Initiative. Audubon is just one of the green groups that Ford has been supporting. Let Ford Motor Company know how you feel about this. Use the following as a guide for your message - or cut and paste - to send a note to Sandra E. Ulsh, Vice President of the Ford Motor Company Fund, at fordfund@ford.com.
(Be certain to include your name, address and phone number)
You can also call Ford at 800 392-3673, at the first prompt enter 3, at the second prompt enter 2. At that time you will be asked to enter your 10 Digit Telephone number. Then you will be linked to a live person who will do a VERY complete interview about your complaint.

Ah, I did miss that! I was considering a Mazda (had one some years ago and liked it).
Thanks for pointing this out more clearly.

I really like my 1998 Ford F150 4WD pickup. 140,000 miles and not one significant problem. I had already replaced two trannies and a radiator in my Chevy pickup at the same mileage.
But I won't be replacing my Ford with another Ford. Not now.

I like the Mustangs and REALLY like the Thunderbirds.
But I sure won't be getting one now.
I also have a 1977 Mercury Cougar bought new, still have it, would love to ger it on the road again eventually but beyonf that, no new Fords until they stop all this malarky. I wonder what positions GM and Chrysler take on all of this? You know what, if somebody even suggested such shenanigans a generation or so ago, most likely they would have been fired or run put of town on a rail.
I believe homosexuality is dead wrong, it is against the Bible as well as nature. I do pray to God that these people will change and see the light but I know not all will do that. I can tolerate it if they kept it private and not flaunt it or try to change our society like they want to do but all this kow-towing will do is feed the monster more and more and Ford is a part of that. I always said that the PC movement will be the death of our society.

I always said that the PC movement will be the death of our society. You are not alone. The movement to end offense to anyone (PC movement) is a movement towards a utopean world where socialism reigns and the individual means nothing.

Yes, I pray too for people to change. "With God all things are possible."
The Bible clearly states that homosexuality is wrong, even against nature, as you said. This country will keep going down the drain if more companies adopt policies like FORD is doing. They are determined to push their deviant lifestyle on the rest of the country---trying to get it to be accepted as "normal."
But I'm going with what God says, and He says it's wrong.

It sounds like there are going to be a lot more people rear-ended in Fords in the future.

Ford's liberal, anti-American, and pro-fag politics is why I will never again buy a Ford. Not to mention their product is of inferior quality to Chevy and most of the Japanese import line. Ford transmissions suck anymore.

The first year for the Mustang was '65.
