Thanks. Another Clinton scandal swept under the rug by the MSM and we've known about this one for years. The Clinton's are the most corrupt people to ever occupy DC.

What can you do to the RED CROSS?

Nothing at all will happen to the American Red Cross, but their hands are not clean. Bad blood came back from the Canadian processor and Americans suffered proportionately as much as Canadians. The hemophiliac population in this country was decimated by diseased blood (tainted Factor 8).

But remember, Hillary was in this up to her elbows. This story is not healthy for her presidential ambitions. It could even open up the Vincent Foster case.

I believe the fine should be large enough to shut down Canada Red Cross and also about 30 to 50 people should be serving time in prison for such a catastrophe.
Including people from Arkansas.

That's like fining Ken Lay of Enron fame $20,000 for screwing people out of Billions and their life savings.

Many years ago, I did extensive studying of this issue. I don't remember Hillary's involvement but I remember Bill knew and looked the other way. I believe those involved were his supporters.

I remember this story from the '80's. The media was portraying it as if the blood was obtained from Canadian prisoners.

What can be done to the Homosexual lobby who prevented the early quarintine of infected HIV cases

Anyone with basic knowledge of Vectors and disease spread- (one would have hoped some at CDC could have controlled HIV's spread in San Francisco Homosexual community)
would know that an untreatable infecious disease must have it's disease carriers (vectors) quarantined

As a side note: How many Homosexual organizations have NEVER apologized to the World for THIS scourge they to this day continue to spread??
HATE SPEACH AS A CRIME- WHAT ABOUT DEATH SPREADING PERSONAL BEHAVIOR ?

It would be spun as klintoon's patriotic quest to reduce the world's population growth. Murder by proxy and he should, but will not be charged for this crime.NSNR

The fine was $5,000 Canadian plus 1.5 million dedicated to a scholarship fund and research project aimed at reducing medical errors.

This was pursuant to a plea bargain. Yanks may perhaps be familiar with the concept.

Fined $4,000 dollars? And nobody went to jail?

You need to read the article in order to get "the rest of the story".

Agreed. It was a slap on the wrist, especially in light of the lives lost or blighted by disease.

That is what happens in plea bargains, especially where the defendent is an organization with a century long reputation and patrons who are the descendents of the Family Compact.

"The fine was $5,000 Canadian plus 1.5 million dedicated to a scholarship fund and research project aimed at reducing medical errors."

Plus, of course, the Red Cross was already removed from the blood business in Canada, provided a $70 million fund for victims, and the principals of the Red Cross at the time will stand for criminal prosecution.
