The America in which I grew up certainly no longer exists. There's not a day that goes by that I don't lament not being able to provide *that* America for my children to inherit.
So, yes, I suppose that all nations do expire.

So, yes, I suppose that all nations do expire. If by "expire" you mean "change a whole lot and not necessarily for the better." It's been hundreds of years since anyone had the privilege of dying in the same country where he was born.

America is going the way of Rome. The government is too big, too many illegals, etc etc. To my dismay, GWB has certainly accelerated this.
