their 'own' fathers
i guess the old bitty doesn't mind dis'ing us stepfathers to make her statistic as impressive as possible
Thank God for guys like you! I for one appreciate the sacrifice of a man who takes up a responsibility that was never yours in the first place. It doesn't go unnoticed by God, so be blessed!
My dad died when I was five. My mother remarried when I was 12. He was a great father to my brother, sister and me. There are a lot of wonderful, caring "stepfathers" out there but we only hear about the bad ones of course. Fathers are extremely important to their children, especially boys. But we have been fed the lie that mothers can raise children by themselves just as well as if the father were there, too. Obviously that just isn't true. Kids need dads.
You don't get it. You're not being dissed. unless, of course, you wish to be included in the group of "slobs" she said are being accused of abandonment.
And her targeted group, feminists, are culpable for this. In Texas, this crap started with the "no-fault" divorce law back in the 70s.
This is likewise the whole problem with homosexuals adopting kids. They need BOTH mother and father for a good upbringing.
But it's all part of the desecration of our society, as fervently desired by the liberal/secularist jihadists.
It's still a huge problem even if one counts decent stepfathers.
I agree. I'm a stepfather as well. Don't know when and/or if I'll have my own.
