why? they have no grounds. they were handled in accordance with aruba law. it's not the USA. all they need is "strong suspicion" to hold you.
no grounds: What the heck took them so long? They arrested two guys who ended up probably just being in the wrong place at the wrong time: rich vs. poor.
I think the police held the security gaurds to let the perps think they got away with it. I just hope they let the security gaurds in on it. But as you say, it isn't an American system down there.
