This is the kind of kid the libs say shouldn't even exist. Prenatal testing should make it possible to wipe his kind out before they ever see the light of day. The movement to destroy the Ryans of this world has been successful too. Down Syndrome kids, for instance, are quite rare today. After all, what purpose do their very limited lives serve? (That is, except to give the rest of us a chance to become more decent human beings.)

I need to see if I can find that warranty card. My monitor seems to have gone all blurry.

After all, what purpose do their very limited lives serve?Indeed. I say the purpose of their lives is to help us to focus on what should be the purpose of our lives: Namely to love freely and try our hardest.
I am glad my co-workers were out of the room as I bawled my way through this one.

Great story! With determination anything is possible. A soft rope can eventually wear a groove in a stone.
