If I were MJ, I wouldn't waste more than an hour before filing a countersuit against the prosecutor's office.

The damage this has done to his reputation, career, and financial wellbeing are incalculable. And I'm inclined to believe 12 independent jurors when they acquit on charges like this.

Jackson may not be off the hook yet. He may face a civil suit where the guilty bar is much lower, and Jacko will have to take the defense stand.

I have less faith in the jury system than you, but have even less faith in the government. Prosecutors successfully wage vendettas all the time; they get away with it because 99% of Americans lack the resources to fight the government.
