It's of course possible, but there is still a pattern of behavior on Jackson's part. If these boys had strictly been out over the years to extort money from him I can't see him continuing that behavior when it would just set him up for more extortion. I don't for a minute believe he's as naive as he portrays himself especially after having to pay out millions. To me, it just doesn't track.
I'm glad this whole circus will be going away, though. It's been difficult these last several months avoiding it.
