I don't think the testimony of the mother would be relevant in relation to whether or not Jackson committed those crimes against the victim.
Maybe it shouldn't be relevant but the fact was that the mother came across as a con artist looking for her big score. I happen to believe that she did set Michael Jackson up AND that he did molest the boy. I was hoping for a guilty verdict and no civil award, because I don't think she should profit from pimping her son. It's too bad it did not work out that way, because I think Jackson will do it again, but I am not going to bad mouth the jury. The credibility of the victim and his mother provided reasonable doubt.

I don't either, but like-it-or-not she was the "weak link" and the defense played that to the hilt.
