The victim was black and so was the perp.....
Throughout the trial the defendant flashed gang hand signals at the witnesses and victim....as well as the victim's parents.
The defendant took the stand and was even a smart-as_ to his own attorney....Sadly...we had a juror that was an immigrant from eastern Europe....and she would not convict because of her background as a communist... Go figure... I finally got her to convict but only if the the punishment was probation.......
To make matters worse, the judge made me walk this former commie-bitc_ to the bus stop in downtown Houston at 10 PM...... The judge had an armed deputy that could have assisted....
The defendent was laughing and the victims crying as the verdict was read...the poor victim had to go back to the same neighborhood.....Think about that!
That is disgusting.
