someone at another blog, from Aruba, said that Joran baby was dealing ecstasy, perhaps to fund his little gambling habit? I don't think his parents are rich as some in the press make him out to be......
seriously though gambling is becoming a huge problem with teenagers, with online gaming and with the poker craze, my own nephew is hooked on poker and they play for pots around $250 bucks etc, or so they say, could be worse and they don't want parents to know, pretty steep for 17 & 18 year olds if you ask me

sorry, from all the alleged details we can gather so far, it makes no sense that the brothers would drop off Joran and go off with Natalee, because it sounds by all indications like Natalee is infatuated with Joran, big man on Aruba, he's the ladies man, just look at his webpage

That Dutch kid, 'honor student', has a shifty-eyed look, to me. "Charming" often goes with lying/ manipulative/ etc. I think it is great the Mom is there -- she would be a formidable foe, in my opinion. She smells stink and is not going to be pushed aside. It sounds to me like the case is broken open. Also that they are trying to protect that 'honor student' (Dutch kid) -- the one with NO honor.

I'll try and see if it is still up, it may not be, if not, check out some of the older threads on Freeps, some Freepers had found the webpage, he had a photo album, full of pretty girls, clearly many were tourist chicks he met whilst out drinking etc, he described his hobbies as girls, partying etc.......the two brothers are just background

The uncle said he didn't think Joran wouldn't have killed her but within a half hour thought he wasn't being honest.

Or Joran made out with her for a while, but when she wanted more he told her he just "wanted to be friends". Then she flipped out, attacked him, and he accidently killed her defending himself. I'll bet more people are upset by my wild speculation than were upset by yours...
Probably. Not sure what your point is though...other than to throw logic entirely out the window.
(Never said that my scenario wasn't the purest speculation.)
