Actually, the obvious is not obvious at all. Officialdom never considers someone homosexual, even though they are having homosexual sex, unless that person "comes out of the closet" and admits they are homosexual.
Unless that person is a conservative ... in which case, he will be subject to a barrage of baseless accusations that he is gay.
