I guess Pfizer is the lucky recipient of this land. I wasn't aware of that until I did a little digging.

This ruling is a travesty. So much for "life, liberty and property." The latter two have just been annihilated.

Since we "just" dumped "public" from our Constitution we might as well dump "just compensation" as well. It makes things so messy - people insisting their property has value and all ... this AMENDMENT really impedes the GOVERNMENT from helping us. Right? :-(

Now what is to keep leftist town councils from getting rid of all churches? After all, churches provide ZERO tax revenue and anything would provide more. I guess they can now have their dream of killing religion in America.

Wish I hadn't sold my Pfizer stock last month. It would have given me some small satisfaction to have sold it today.

Thie ruling is both frightening and amazing. The government has not only taken away their property rights, they've violated the residents right to negotiate a market value based financial agreement directly with the company(s) involved in the confiscation.

Our tax system can also be blamed for creating this condition. Basically the local government is looking for creative ways to increase revenues in the coming fiscal years just like a private business.

What other rights will be confiscated in this "soviet" style movement of legislating from the bench???

God help us all!
