Let's not change the subject.
We're talking about David J. Duncan's claim that Bush/the Republicans is pushing some religion of jingoism. And what he has quoted from Bush simply does not substantiate that.
I'm not terribly surprised that you, like Mr. Duncan, find it difficult to grasp the difference between the existance of lawyers in DC, Republicans in office, [insert your most hated policy here], and the IDEAL of America.
Shalom Israel (post 25 in this thread) at least was honest enough to admit that the Bush administration is not helping to move us in the direction of ideals expressed in your earlier post here.
