Thanks, TexKat, for posting the Larry King transcript! I found the following remarks by Tim Miller very chilling:
TIM MILLER, TEXAS EQUUSEARCH: You know what, Larry, I tried to stay out of the investigation end of it. We wanted to be focusing on the search end, but I think we're getting caught up now in the investigative end and I'm very angry about this case. That's why we're staying. We are determined to do everything we can do to find Natalee. I think in all honesty, and nobody on the island, including Dave, knows that we found some things today that were very, very interesting. Again ... KING: What did you find? MILLER: Well, we found a spot that we think possibly Natalee was at at one time until somebody moved her. And I'm very angry.
Later on in the transcript, Tim makes this startling remark:
MILLER: Well, you know, it could be hopeless. But you know what, going back to the family's (VDS's) house, we brought in some special equipment to do wells and manhole covers and stuff. And I would love to get in their backyard, because I understand there's an abandoned well in their backyard that I certainly would like to put this equipment down into. So, I would hope somebody would honor us in letting us -- us in their backyard to do that. And if I get egg on my face, I get egg on my face. But you know what, I want to clear that.
Sounds to me that they found evidence of Natalee's burial on the beach and that she's been moved. Some of you may have read some of my previous posts calling for another search of the VDS property, this time with cadaver dogs.
I have the same gut instinct as Tim Miller regarding the VDS property, but more so than ever if there really is an abandoned well on their property!!!
Any thoughts?

I was told years ago it meant...
Always thought it was a slightly derogatory term but in a non-malicious sense. Never had a clue to the 'other' definition until today.

MILLER: I've spent a lot of time with the Police Commissioner van der Straaten, and he told me that he has got enough stuff without a body for prosecution. Our deal is to bring Natalee home. That family needs that body. They need to be able to say goodbye and start their healing process.
This police commissioner has failed miserably in his handling of this case. Why do I doubt him? Notice, he said he had enough evidence for a prosecution, but he did not mention a conviction.

Thoughts?
Not searching the VDS premises speaks for itself. They don't want to find Natalee and are protecting one of their own. God only knows for what reason.
The corrupt system we are seeing should serve as a warning for anyone who travels or sends their child on vacation to Aruba.
If these young men walk out of jail, and it appears they will, Beth needs to come on home for her own sake and that of her remaining family, who love her.
To hell with Aruba and their Banana Republic. There's something very wrong down there.

Maybe PvdS or the boys disposed of the body on the VdS property. However, it is obvious to me PvdS and the corrupt Aruban LE system will never allow Tim Miller's group to search the property.

Folks, I think it's time for each of us to write the Dutch government, and give them a piece of our mind.

Not searching the VDS premises speaks for itself. They don't want to find Natalee and are protecting one of their own. God only knows for what reason. Searching the VDS property again with the proper canines and TES equipment is vital. I want to know who in that banana republic can authorize such a search. This poor family and searchers may as well be getting slapped around.
Larry King must be getting senile. I can't believe he didn't follow up with the question, "Who makes the decision whether the VDS property can be searched a second time?". Once we find out, we can flood them with demands!
Help, Greta!

Folks, I think it's time for each of us to write the Dutch government, and give them a piece of our mind.I think a generous wad of the laundered Aruba cash must find its way into the pockets of Dutch policos. They should have taken over this case at the beginning. Aruba is too insular (not to mention too corrupt) to handle a case this complicated.

Who makes the decision whether the VDS property can be searchedFrom all I have read, it would seem that the investigation is being run by police superintendent Jan van der Straaten, PVDS's best friend.

Not just Greta..but Nancy Grace.
The Arubians are very sensitive to criticism, even though they repeat "this is our way of doing things", like spoiled school children. We can and should expose their charade.
We've been on the defensive, out of fear we'll step over the line and damage the case. No more. There's nothing to lose at this point.

Then I hope you and many other FReepers will join me in asking Greta to ask Jan van der Straaten on camera and on behalf of Natalee's family, the TES and millions of Americans, to allow a second search of the VDS property. If he says NO, then he will be announcing to the world that they are officially covering for Natalee's murderers and should be considered accomplices themselves.

Gary, I believe PVDS thinks no one would think he put Natalees remains on his personal property. To most people this would be totally incoherent. Why would a suspect or perps place a body on his very own property? Well we both know the answer without further deducement.
John Wayne Gacy used this concept of concealment and was finally caught. There were many bodies of murdered/sexually abused young men buried underneath a large concrete in his basement.
PVDS is a real personality and thinks he is intellectually superior to everyone else. Word to PVDS, perps will always get a little to confident/cocky which often leads to their undoing. NSNR
To: Dark Skies
Also it angers me to hear these suspects referred to as 'boys'.....they need to either be called by their names or as 'these men'......they do not act, behave or qualify as 'boys'!
Thanks!
To: demkicker
How about just asking him for a "thorough" search of the VDS property? Tactful and that should cover it.

I believe it was reported some ropes and anchors were missing from the hut. Possible diversion to make people believe the body was taken/dropped in the ocean?
The mind of PVDS at work in disposing of a body to convolute the many possiblities of location. NSNR

NSNR, you bring up a very astute point that I never would have considered. Thank you.

NSNR, I agree. Those who commit evil always make mistakes, and let us not forget pride goes before a fall.
