No, because the Koran doesn't have the equivalent to "Turn the other cheek", love thy neighbor, and forgiveness. However, there does come a point where we have to defend our families, friends, nation and yes, our faiths from the assault by islamisists and leftists.

Oh, Muslims may try to say the same thing, but it doesn't work. Their religion and culture has condoned and encouraged the rise of their brethren terrorists. If it hadn't they would have taken care of the problem a long time ago.

Maybe if a bunch of IRA-types ever fly into one of our buildings and murder 3,000 people, the US will have reason to go after them too. But for now, the Brits should take care of their own turf.

The IRA "Christian" terrorists got ZERO support from:

• the example of the founder of the Christian religion
• the commandments of the founder of the Christian religion
• any pope, cardinal, bishop, or other religious official, either in Rome or in Ireland
• any document, declaration, broadcast, or publication, at any time, associated in any official way with the Catholic Church.

  (In fact, the predecessors of the IRA--- the Fenians and the IRB --- were secret organizations whose members swore an oath, before God, to take their orders from the Brotherhood. This led to problems with the Catholic Church who went so far as to excommunicate members who took such an oath. Later on, IRA-Provo's and their supporters --- including, admittedly, the occasional sympathetic priest --- were told that they should not receive communion; they should effectively "excommunicate themselves.")

  By way of contrast, the Islamic terrorists operate with the support of:

• the example of the founder of religion of Islam
• the commandments of the founder of the religion of Islam
• hundreds of religious officials, in Britain and in dozens of Islamic countries
• countless documents, declarations, broadcasts, and publications, officially produced and distributed by Islamic institutes, Universities, mosques, madrassas, "fraternal" and "charitable" groups.

  Other than that, of course, they're just the same...

A lot of people seem to be under the impression that artistic depictions of modern Londonistan like "East is East" or "White Teeth" are creative flights of fancy intended merely for aesthetic purposes, when-in reality-they're a lethally accurate portrayal of an outpost of Western civilization being besieged by the teeming throngs of a benighted, retrograde, obscurantist culture that is perpetually immured in medievalism.

The sooner that people wake up and realize that ineluctable truth, the sooner we'll be able to fortify ourselves against the forces that are attempting to obliterate us from the face of the Earth.

I'm far from the greatest admirer of Vladimir Putin, but he made a statement-in the wake of the September 11th attacks-that bears repeating, which I'll attempt to paraphrase:

To them, we are as dust.

From my perspective, that sums up-better than I ever could hope to-the dire threat that we are all facing at the present time, and is illustrative of the mindset that motivated the creatures that perpetrated the massacre in London this past week.
