LODI IMAM AND SON TO BE DEPORTED FROM THE UNITED STATES

SAN FRANCISCO – A Lodi imam and his son who were arrested last month on immigration charges in connection with an ongoing investigation have agreed to accept orders of removal to their native Pakistan.

At a hearing this afternoon before Immigration Judge Anthony Murry, Mohammad Adil Khan, 47, and his son Mohammad Hassan Adil, 19, advised the Judge they were abandoning their legal fight to remain in the United States and would return to Pakistan. The two men sought to have their original August 9 hearing date rescheduled to today to speed the removal process. Judge Murry issued the removal order at conclusion of today’s hearing.

Kahn and Adil were taken into custody by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) June 6 for violating the terms of their visas.

“As part of this ongoing investigation, ICE and the other agencies involved are using a range of strategies, including both criminal and administrative proceedings, to remove any potential threat to the community,” said San Francisco ICE chief counsel Ronald E. Le Fevre. “ICE will not allow foreign nationals to use the United States as a haven for activities that potentially put our nation or other nations at risk.”

Khan is a citizen of Pakistan and a trained Muslim cleric who holds a doctorate degree in Islamic Studies from the University of Sindh, Pakistan. He first entered the United States in April 2001 as a “Special Immigrant Religious Worker,” on a non-immigrant R-1 visa, to perform religious services at the Lodi Muslim Mosque near Sacramento.

ICE officials will begin making travel arrangements immediately for the men’s return to Pakistan.

All roads in the war on terror lead to madrasas in Pakistan

LONDON: British dailies on Sunday described Pakistan as "the
epicentre" of Osama bin Laden's unremitting campaign of terror
against the West as it was revealed that three of the London bombers
had spent time in that country.

"Irrespective of whether you are dealing with the disaffected youth of
Leeds or a brainwashed jihadi at a madrasa on the North West
Frontier, the inescapable conclusion is that Pakistan forms the
epicentre of Osama Bin Laden's unremitting campaign of terror
against the West," the Sunday Telegraph stated.

In an article 'The Pakistan Connection,' the Sunday Times said "Now it
seems that the Leeds suicide bombers were probably trained and
perhaps master-minded from Pakistan."

"Yet again with 7/7 we see all roads lead to Pakistan," M J Gohel,
director of the London-based Asia- Pacific Foundation that monitors
terrorism, told the Sunday Times, pointing out that all six of the most
senior al-Qaeda leaders captured so far were living in Pakistan.
Richard Reid, the failed British shoe-bomber, had spent time there as
had Saajid Badat, the second would-be shoe-bomber who was
arrested in Gloucestershire.

Pakistan was also the base for Ahmed Omar Saeed Sheikh, the
British-born London School of Economics student sentenced to death
for beheading Daniel Pearl, the Wall Street Journal reporter.

Con Coughlin, author of 'saddam: The Secret Life' wrote in Sunday
telegraph: "When Prime Minister Tony Blair flew o Islamabad in
October 2001, he was under no illusions about the role that Pakistan's
infamous ISI had played in creating the Taliban."

Blair had also been briefed by Britain's secret intelligence service
chiefs about the activities of A Q Khan, the "father" of the Pakistani ‘N’
bomb, in clandestinely proliferating nuclear technology to such
unsavoury regimes as Libya and Iran, Coughlin wrote.

Last week's revelation that two of the London bombers had spent time
in Pakistan is depressingly familiar, he said.

Virtually every British subject known to be involved with al-Qaeda -
from Richard Reid the shoe-bomber to the two British suicide bombers
responsible for blowing up a Tel Aviv bar in May 2003 - had visited
Pakistan in the months leading up to their terror attacks.

"And in each case it appears that individuals who, in the main, left
these shores nurturing nothing more sinister than a youthful sense of
ennui returned with a burning desire to commit murder and create
mayhem," the Telegraph report said.

"As the shocked relatives of the 22-year-old bomber Shehzad Tanweer
explained last week, the young athletics enthusiast underwent a
radical transformation after he spent a few months last year in
Pakistan studying the Koran and Arabic. Tanweer, it now transpires,
had spent his time studying at a madrassa."

There are thought to be an estimated 20,000 such places in the
country - the Pakistani authorities are unable to provide an accurate
number. Many provide an important and valuable education for the
children of poor families who would otherwise have no schooling. "But
a significant number have a far more sinister agenda: inculcating the
cult of martyrdom and sacrifice into their pupils in the hope that the
blood of these young Muslims will one day enable the Islamic creed to
conquer the entire world," the report said.

"Even more alarming for our security forces is the fact that hundreds,
if not thousands, of the young British Muslim men and women who are
sent to study at Pakistan's madrasas return to these shores filled with
the conviction that it is their Islamic duty to sacrifice their lives as
suicide bombers."

As one senior British security official commented last week, sending a
British Muslim to a Pakistani madrasa "is the equivalent of sending
them to a Bin Laden boot camp."

Both Washington and London have in the past urged President Pervez
Musharraf to curtain the Islamic brainwashing taking place in the
madrasas, but Pakistan's response has been at best half-hearted,
mainly because the country's military and intelligence community fully
support the Islamic agenda that the madrasas represent, Coughlin
stated.

VIRGINIA MAN PLEADS GUILTY TO CONCEALING TIES TO MILITANT GROUPS AND BOMB TRAINING IN HIS U.S. CITIZENSHIP APPLICATION

ALEXANDRIA, VA -- Paul J. McNulty, United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, Allan J. Doody, Special Agent-in-Charge of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in Washington D.C., and Michael Mason, Assistant Director-in-Charge of the FBI Washington Field Office, announced the plea yesterday of Maher Amin Jaradat, a 43-year-old Israeli-born Palestinian and naturalized U.S. citizen, to fraudulently procuring U.S. citizenship.

He faces a maximum sentence of 10 years imprisonment and a $250,000 fine when sentenced on September 2, 2005, by the Honorable T.S. Ellis III, United States District Court Judge. On May 17, 2005, a federal grand jury in Alexandria returned a one-count indictment charging Jaradat with unlawful procurement of citizenship. Jaradat entered the United States in June 1988 as a visitor and later married an American citizen.

ICE and FBI special agents assigned to the Joint Terrorism Task Force conducted the investigation that resulted in the arrest and indictment of Jaradat. The prosecution is being handled by Assistant United States Attorney Gordon Kromberg and Special Assistant Heather Schmidt.

Jaradat submitted an application for U.S. citizenship with immigration authorities in March 1995 and, in June 1995 appeared before immigration authorities where he swore under oath that the contents of the application were true, even though he knew the application contained false statements.

He also failed to disclose that he had been a member of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) for 16 months beginning in 1980; that he had also studied bomb-making and the use of small arms at a training camp in Syria run by DFLP, an organization involved in terrorist activities; and that he had engaged in security duties in Lebanon.

Jaradat also did not disclose that, beginning in 1981, he had also been a member of al-Fatah, an organization responsible for numerous terrorist attacks and airplane hijackings

In addition, Jaradat falsely claimed that he had never been arrested, cited, charged, indicted, convicted, fined or imprisoned for breaking or violating any law or ordinance, when in fact, he had been arrested for assault and battery in the City of Alexandria in 1990.

U.S. Attorney McNulty said, "Our citizens have a right to know if an immigrant to this country has been associated with terrorist organizations. Catching and punishing those who enter this country under false pretense is a major element of our terrorism prevention strategy."

“U.S. citizenship is a privilege. Those who attempt to gain it through fraud, especially by concealing their affiliation with violent militant groups, will be pursued vigorously by ICE,” said ICE Special Agent-in-Charge Doody.

10 militants, Editor of Jaish mouthpiece detained in Pak

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan police have arrested 10 militants as also the
Editor and staff of a weekly run by terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed
from different cities in Punjab province, two days after President
Pervez Musharraf ordered a new crackdown on banned jihadi groups.

Police raided the office of the weekly "Zarb-i-Islam", the mouthpiece
of Jaish in Karachi, and picked up its Editor Nasir Ali Jahangir and his
assistant Mohammad Saleem for allegedly spreading hate literature,
Daily Times reported. Police seized copies of the weekly from the office
premises and sealed it, the report said on Sunday.

"We have picked up the Editor and his assistant and kept them in the
police station. No case has been registered against them and we are
waiting for further orders from high-ups," a police official said.
Different newspaper stalls at Saddar in the city were also raided and
six hawkers picked up for selling copies of another Urdu weekly
"Zarb-i-Momin," the report said.

In a separate crackdown, police of the Punjab province have detained
10 militants, the paper said. Four were arrested from Faisalabad, Toba
Tek Singh and Kamalia. Two were identified as Nazir and Shahzad.
Four others were arrested from Lahore but three were later set free.

"Two Jaish-e-Muhammad activists were arrested from Gujranwala on
Saturday and are being interrogated," the paper said adding that
another major operation was expected on Sunday.

The crackdown came two days after Musharraf told a meeting of top
police officials from all the provinces to launch a countrywide
campaign against collection of donations, display of arms, holding of
gatherings by banned outfits as also to remove all hate material from
markets by December this year.

His orders followed reports that suspects in the recent London
bombings visited and stayed at various madrasas or Islamic schools in
Pakistan. There were other reports of regrouping of militant training
camps after a gap of one year.

Terrorists Use Corpses as Bait in Baghdad Car-Bomb Attack

BAGHDAD, July 17, 2005 – In what military officials are calling "a new level of barbarity," terrorists tortured and killed two innocent Iraqi civilians and laid their bodies in the road as bait for curious Iraqi civilians and investigating Iraqi security forces before detonating a car bomb at 8 a.m. this morning.
The attack, in the New Baghdad district of the capital, killed one Iraqi police officer, along with the terrorist who drove the vehicle. Five civilians and three other Iraqi police officers were wounded.

The bodies were discovered lying in the middle of the road. When Iraqi security forces and a crowd of civilians gathered near the scene, a terrorist drove his car bomb into the group and detonated it.

"The (Iraqi security forces) will not be intimidated by this type of action. We will continue to take the fight to the Godless terrorists," one Iraqi police officer said.

Iraqi forces secured the scene, and all casualties were quickly evacuated to a local hospital. The incident is under investigation, officials said.

The previous day, Iraqi security forces stopped a suicide bomber before he could detonate his suicide vest at the funeral for young victims of the July 13 car bombing, which claimed the lives of two dozen Iraqi children. The terrorist is now in custody at an undisclosed location.

"The terrorists are offering nothing for the future of Iraq. They offer only death to innocent Iraqi people. The people are with us, they support the (police) and the Iraqi army," the police officer said.

I am hearing radio warnings to get prepared, have a plan, etc, unusual for Kingman, Az. also deleted several alerts that were replays of the "Be Prepared" from my email alerts.

Al-Qaida's prime targets for launching nuclear terrorist attacks are the
nine U.S. cities with the highest Jewish populations, according to
captured leaders and documents.

As first revealed last week in Joseph Farah's G2 Bulletin, the premium,
online intelligence newsletter published by the founder of WND,
Osama bin Laden is planning what he calls an "American Hiroshima,"
the ultimate terrorist attack on U.S. cities, using nuclear weapons
already smuggled into the country across the Mexican border along
with thousands of sleeper agents.

The series of attacks is designed to kill 4 million, destroy the economy
and fundamentally alter the course of history.

At least two fully assembled and operational nuclear weapons are
believed to be hidden in the United States already, according to G2
Bulletin intelligence sources and an upcoming book, "The al-Qaida
Connection: International Terrorism, Organized Crime and the Coming
Apocalypse," by former FBI consultant Paul L. Williams.

The cities chosen as optimal targets are New York, Miami, Los
Angeles, Philadelphia, Chicago, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Boston and
Washington, D.C. New York and Washington top the preferred target
list for al-Qaida leadership.

Bin Laden's goal, according to G2 Bulletin sources, is to launch one
initial attack, followed by a second on another city to simulate the U.S.
bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The optimal dates for the attacks
are Aug. 6, the anniversary of the Hiroshima bombing, Sept. 11 and
May 14, the anniversary of the re-creation of the state of Israel in
1948. No specific year has been suggested, however, this Aug. 6
represents the 60th anniversary of the Hiroshima attack.

The captured terrorists and documents also suggest smaller attacks
may take place on American soil before the nuclear incidents. They
may include some involving automatic weapons at schools and
shopping malls, but will not include any airplane hijackings. Why?
Because bin Laden does not want any failed efforts to overshadow
"the success of Sept. 11." There will also not be any attacks on U.S.
nuclear power plants. The rationale? The nuclear power plants can act
as force multipliers when the weapons of mass destruction are
detonated.

Another requirement dictated from the top at al-Qaida is that the
attacks take place in daylight, so that the whole world will be able to
see the images of a mushroom cloud over an American city.

One of the sources for the information is Khalid Sheikh Mohammed,
the chief planner of the Sept. 11 attacks, who is now in U.S. custody.

As previously reported by G2 Bulletin, al-Qaida has obtained at least
40 nuclear weapons from the former Soviet Union – including suitcase
nukes, nuclear mines, artillery shells and even some missile
warheads. In addition, documents captured in Afghanistan show
al-Qaida had plans to assemble its own nuclear weapons with fissile
material it purchased on the black market.

U.S. military sources also say there is evidence to suggest al-Qaida is
paying former Russian special forces "Spetznaz" troops to assist the
terrorist group in locating nuclear weapons planted in the U.S. during
the Cold War. Osama bin Laden's group is also paying nuclear
scientists from Russia and Pakistan to maintain its existing nuclear
arsenal and assemble additional weapons with the materials it has
invested hundreds of millions in procuring over a period of 10 years.
Al-Qaida sources indicate they would prefer to use Russian-made
weapons for symbolic reasons.

The plans for the devastating nuclear attack on the U.S. have been
under development for more than a decade. It is designed as a final
deadly blow to the U.S., which is seen by al-Qaida and its allies as
"the Great Satan."

At least half the nuclear weapons in the al-Qaida arsenal were
obtained for cash from the Chechen terrorist allies.

But the most disturbing news is that high level U.S. officials now
believe at least some of those weapons have been smuggled into the
U.S. for use in the near future in major cities as part of this "American
Hiroshima" plan.

According to Williams, former CIA Director George Tenet informed
President Bush one month after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks that at
least two suitcase nukes had reached al-Qaida operatives in the U.S.

"Each suitcase weighed between 50 and 80 kilograms (approximately
110 to 176 pounds) and contained enough fissionable plutonium and
uranium to produce an explosive yield in excess of two kilotons,"
wrote Williams. "One suitcase bore the serial number 9999 and the
Russian manufacturing date of 1988. The design of the weapons,
Tenet told the president, is simple. The plutonium and uranium are
kept in separate compartments that are linked to a triggering
mechanism that can be activated by a clock or a call from the cell
phone."

According to the author, the news sent Bush "through the roof,"
prompting him to order his national security team to give nuclear
terrorism priority over every other threat to America.

However, it is worth noting that Bush failed to translate this policy into
securing the U.S.-Mexico border through which the nuclear weapons
and al-Qaida operatives are believed to have passed with the help of
the MS-13 smugglers. He did, however, order the building of
underground bunkers away from major metropolitan areas for use by
federal government managers following an attack.

Bin Laden, according to Williams, has nearly unlimited funds to spend
on his nuclear terrorism plan because he has remained in control of
the Afghanistan-produced heroin industry. Poppy production has
greatly increased even while U.S. troops are occupying the country,
he writes. Al-Qaida has developed close relations with the Albanian
Mafia, which assists in the smuggling and sale of heroin throughout
Europe and the U.S.

Some of that money is used to pay off the notorious MS-13 street
gang between $30,000 and $50,000 for each sleeper agent smuggled
into the U.S. from Mexico. The sleepers are also provided with phony
identification, most often bogus matricula consular ID cards
indistinguishable from Mexico's official ID, now accepted in the U.S. to
open bank accounts and obtain driver's licenses.

According to Williams' sources, thousands of al-Qaida sleeper agents
have now been forward deployed into the U.S. to carry out their
individual roles in the coming "American Hiroshima" plan.

Source: Food Consumer.org [edited] ____________________________________________________________ Orchid Island Juice Co recalls unpasteurized orange juice ---------------------------------------------------------- Orchid Island Juice Company of Fort Pierce, Florida, is voluntarily recalling all unpasteurized orange juice (only) with a code date of 7/25/05 or earlier and all unpasteurized frozen orange juice with expiration codes of 04-25-2007 through 07-08-2007 for Just Pik't and Natalie's Orchid Island Juice Company brands, 18-04-2008 through 10-06-2008 for Floridella brands, bottle codes S3.2007.04.27 through S2.2007.06.27 for Herders and St. Marc brands, and bottle code OE55 S1125 for the Sundecker brand. ____________________________________________________________ Unpasteurized frozen juice is sold in liter, quarter liter, 60 oz, 1800 ml, 1750 ml, and 250 ml sizes. ____________________________________________________________ These products have the potential to be contaminated with _Salmonella_ enterica serotype Typhimurium, a germ that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Otherwise healthy individuals may suffer short term symptoms, such as high fever, severe headache, vomiting, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. Long term complications can include severe arthritis. ____________________________________________________________ Orchid Island Juice Company distributes unpasteurized orange juice and unpasteurized frozen orange juice in the following states: Alabama, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vermont, Virginia, Washington DC, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and internationally to Canada, France, and Japan. ____________________________________________________________ Consumers may have purchased or consumed the product through retail or foodservice establishments, such as restaurants, hotels, resorts, or country clubs. -____________________________________________________________ Orchid Island Juice Company's unpasteurized orange juice can be identified by the following labels: Natalie's Orchid Island Juice Company, Ultimate Juice, Albritton Fruit, Finagle A Bagel, Gourmet Garage, Kings Market, Nino Salvaggio, Schnucks, Wegmans, Balducci's, and Zabars. ____________________________________________________________ Unpasteurized orange juice is sold in gallon, half gallon, quart, pint, 12 oz, and 8 oz sizes. All containers are made of plastic and are clear in color so the orange juice is visible. ____________________________________________________________ To date, there have been 15 suspected cases of illness. The company is working with the Food and Drug Administration to cooperatively determine the source of contamination. The company will initiate temporary delicate flash pasteurization of orange juice pending a thorough investigation. ____________________________________________________________ Domestic consumers who have purchased unpasteurized orange juice and/or unpasteurized frozen orange juice distributed by Orchid Island Juice Company should throw the juice away and return just the container to the store of purchase for a full refund. ___________________________________________________________________International customers need to place the product on "hold". In addition, at least 16 other states have reported cases of serotype Typhimurium infection that match this specific strain. It appears that probably at least 31 cases have occurred and, with the widespread distribution of these products, more cases are likely to occur in the USA and internationally. - Mod.LL] (One only needs to ask how so many batches got contaminated?
