I've heard insanity defined as "doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result." The Republicans keep trying to "communicate" with racists and outright lunatics and expect to sometime achieve a different result. Pathetic!

It is also called persistence. How many times did President Reagan give his "shining city on a hill" speech before it resonated with the electorate and swept him into the Presidency? Of course it didn't hurt to have a loser like Carter as an opponent. :)
