How so? Show me the bad press... What have they done that is so bad?

We are compelled to bring this message to those lost in the murderous bondage of Christianity because of the worldwide persecution and murder of Muslims. The recent resurgence of terrorist activities in Bagdhad is nothing less than the lie of Christianity!

Let's say I show up at your church with 100 other people spouting this rubbish, and then let's go a little further and suppose that the country that you live in is 98% Muslim and 2% Christian. Do you think that you would be convinced to convert? Or would you feel more isolated and persecuted?

Do you think we should just ignore the potential terrorists in our midst?

I think that if you want to shake out the terrorists you should do what you can to integrate Muslims into the American mainstream. A cookout where you can actually meet and talk to some Muslims is going to do a lot more for homeland security than a protest and conversion party will.

At least these people are trying to convert via reason and talking instead of using islam's favorite conversion tool - the sword.

Standing out front of a Mosque in large numbers and shouting into bullhorns isn't reason, it's being a jerk and it's intimidating. The reason that these Save America folks are doing it is because they are afraid and think that by doing this they'll somehow be protecting themselves. But they're not, they're just making an already nasty problem worse. There are 6 million Muslims in America, and they're not going away and they're not all going to convert. If we don't integrate them, if we don't try to understand one another, then we're going to end up with what they had in London.

I don't want to sound all squishy liberal here, but you've got to reach out to these people. They're just as human as you or I, and if you reach out to them, if you give them a stake in their community, and you make them your friends and neighbors, then they're not going to turn on you any more than a Jew or a Hindu would.

To their credit, Muslim organizations are swift to condemn each new terrorist attack. They also are quick to point out that fanatics are a tiny minority and account for only about 1 percent of Muslims worldwide.

These are comforting thoughts unless you happen to be riding the bus with a constituent of that 1 percent. Or unless you're mathematically inclined, in which case you see that 1 percent of the world's estimated 1.2 billion Muslims is 12 million Muslim fanatics who consider the U.S. and other Westerners operatives of Satan.

That's roughly the population of Ohio. If everyone in Ohio adhered to radical Islam, we'd likely conclude that we have more than a small problem, and we also might observe that Islam is closely associated with that problem.

What do you mean we're going to end up with what they had in London? We've already had 9/11 which was much much worse. This problem is not going to go away, it needs to be confronted.
