Lead prosecutor going on VACATION!!! From what I heard last night this Friday will be his last day active on Natalee's case. When Van Der Stratten returns from vacation he will be retiring August 15. One of the men that has worked with Van Der Stratten will be taken over.
According to what Tito Lacle just stated the case make take a turn in the handling of it. Lacle said don't be surprised if we see a change in the handling of the case as soon as this weekend.

Arlene Ellis-Schipper was a little surprised that it took so long for them to send the strands of hair off to be tested.
Mrs Flenahem (sp?) will be taken over for Prosecutor Karen Jensen (sp?)

You think the fix is in demkicker? Affirmative. Let's start with the fact that the opening investigation was botched and evidence was lost due to the ineptness or lack of interest of the ALE. Only after the outcry from the U.S. did JVDS and the Kalpoes even get arrested.
In addition, Van Der Straaten was too closely connected to PVDS's son, Joran, and said that he couldn't bear that his best friend's son might be involved. While everyone knows that the Dutch legal system is secretive, the fact that Natalee's parents have been left in total darkness with no communication from the ALE is unforgivable and criminal in itself.
Bottom line: People with nothing to hide come forward and try to be helpful. Not only have the VDS's and the Kalpoe's done the exact opposite with their numerous lies, the ALE has protected them and deliberately kept Natalee's family in the dark, passing on false information and appearing cold and calculating. The behavior of the ALE has convinced everyone of a cover-up and one needs to look no further than the hard cold facts to come to the same conclusion.
