I guess you know there's a big to-do going on about some duct tape with strands of hair that was found. For the first time the FBI is being allowed to participate in some way by doing some of the DNA testing on this 'find'. Also, for the first time, the 3 main suspects have had to provide DNA samples. The funny thing is they were asked to provide samples prior to the duct tape being found. That's the biggest news right now.
Here's my take on it. The punks did it. That doesn't matter. They will never be convicted. In the mean time, the media is making a fortune on the story while real issues go unnoticed like atrocities committed by illegal immigrants inside the borders of the United States.
I'm sorry for her parents. The only upside I can think of to this story is that maybe other parents won't be so quick to send their kids to vacation in Banana Republics.
