Even funnier, in my opinion, is that fact O'Me! Me! Me! is barely ahead of Savage and Franken. That's gotta sting. He may claim to be looking out for them, but apparently radio listeners aren't listening for him.
And you're correct about Savage. I've never found entertainment in listening to a complete emotional breakdown on the air every night. I feel that with his name calling, argumentative and childish style, he provides more ammunition for the left and their howls about how mean conservatives are than anything positive he may provide. He's just flat out painful to listen to. Not surprising to see him near the bottom.

Savage is pretty biting I agree. I have a hard time listening to him. But I did think he nailed the Terry Schiavo case.

Why are you shocked ? Rush got his Conservative talk radio start on New York/New Jersey radio and was a huge hit long before he went national. Same thing for Hannity, he started on WABC New York too and his success there is what allowed him to go national. NY/NJ gives Bob Grant big numbers too.
Conservative talk radio has been popular in this market for many years before any of those shows went national.
