I'm having trouble getting past this first sentence.
WHY and HOW is it that Air America gets federal funding?
This seems a TINY bit disingenuous. The article says that Charles Rosen may have been "investing city contract funds in Air America Radio".
It's dirty, but I think that Air America will simply argue that the guy gave them money and it's his fault if it came from the wrong places.

Except for this: "Evan Cohen, Air America's former chairman, had served as Gloria Wise's director of development." Cohen cannot say he didn't know Rosen or where the funds came from. If Federal money is involved, why isn't the FBI investigating too?
