Trigger locks is an example of "feels good" legislation. People, like you, will be given them when they buy a gun and go home and toss them in a box, or toss them out.
Still, maybe some will actually use them. That's not such a bad thing. :)
Trigger locks are bad if the gun's already loaded.....obvious reasons.
