Actually, in Norway they call soccer 'football.' At least they did when my mom grew up there. I guess it makes sense since you hit it with your foot. You are forgiven (smile).
Pretty much they call it that everywhere, aside from those places that play American style football, such as the US and Canada. Well in Latin America and Spain it's "Fútbol" :)
