It's a shame Apple waited this long to bring out a multi-button mouse. Damn, but she's a beaut. I especially like the idea of a Scroll Ball (whether I'd like it in practice remains to be seen).

For you PC types out there, it's also compatible with Windows 2000/XP (and I presume 2003 Server).

Why would any of the PC types need one of these, for that price we've been able to get much better mice for a while:

OH BOY! a multi-button mouse for my PC! These Apple people are so smart.

To get the same thing as the scrollbar on a PC, you just press the wheel and side the mouse in the direction you want to go.
