Are the Communists going to be offended by the Cincinnati Reds now?

What about the farmers being offended by the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

I don't even want to think of Dr. Pierce's feelings regarding the University of Iowa mascot....that's just offensive to TV Korean War doctors everywhere...

I grew up in Dublin. I'm offended by the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Make them change to the 'peaceful paddies'! Waaaah!

Or Scandanavians being offended by the Minnesota Vikings? Do you think the PC thought police will pay any attention to that? I am convinced they won't.

The name I find most offensive is one that's disrespectful to women who've dedicated their lives to God and Service of the Catholic Church, the Pittsburgh Penguins.

And what about cattle whose horns are short???

"Sooners" are offensive to us procrastinators.

And just what the hell is a "Ute"?

Actually the "farmers" were offended when the new atheltic director banned "Herbie Husker", who wears bib overalls, and wanted to change all the logo stuff, to just "Husker", because he thought "Cornhusker" was too "hick".

OTOH, their name before Cornhuskers was "Bug Eaters", and that didn't offend any bugs AFAIK : )
