The Canadian atrocities this article cites are truly numbing. Promoting a treaty to ban land mines? How dare they! And an International Criminal Court? How would Kissinger travel abroad?
Coming from MIT's security studies group, it [the article] will be semi-official.... Which is almost as bad as being on "double-secret probation."
So Canada provided a refuge for American draft dodgers during the Vietnam War. Much like Northern states once provided a refuge for slaves. Conscription and slavery: the difference is...?
This shows that the time has come for Americans "to give Canada some attention and a bit of a warning." Damn! Just as I was getting pumped for our invasion of Iran.
Ted Byfield published a weekly news magazine... And judging from the ideas expressed in these articles, he & Sapolsky cook a wicked batch of meth.

Both are aimed at the US military. I hope that you do care about us, but since you might be Canadian, probably not. Land mines have been a military staple for generations. The criminal court has already been asked to try US military and US leaders by leftists.
Canada also harbors terrorists and forget about Mexico and its borders. Canada is where they are and welcomed. In fact, made into heroes.

If you can't tell the difference between doing you patriotic duty for your country in the time of war and slavery; perhaps your parents and church failed in teaching you.
Perhaps you never cared, but fleeing to Canada to avoid the war in Vietnam will always be considered a selfish act.
Someone else (perhaps a poor black man with a family history of slavery) had to go to war in your place.
Think about that for a minute while you burn a flag.

Promoting a treaty to ban land mines? How dare they! I think if your ass were on the 38th parallel you might have a very different perspective. All you glib "Concord Ladies" remind me of people second guessing Hiroshima who weren't in units designated to invade Japan. Other people's lives are cheap when their preservation would give you the vapors.

I love it! A semi-official college paper leading Americans in the idea of pilfering parts of Canada. What a joke! He must have some sort of cult like following to get anyone other than us dopes to read his stuff.
It wouldnt surprise me if the author of this article posted this compost himself.
If Canadians are not happy with their country, they can split it into two countries. But they would have to form two Countries. We dont need the 51st State of Canada.
