The news story I heard was that they had snagged a fishing net but were still able to go through the water until a cable or something like that caught onto the antenna and then it couldn't go anymore.
It would be awful if these guys were rescued, only to find themselves in VERY hot water for getting caught up in the alleged Net..:)

Life is complex. Everyone's life doesn't revolve around global politics. Actually my guess is that only about 1 % of our citizens think about it daily. Most people live, love, cook, have hobbies, read books, listen to music, go to church, jog, eat, etc. We just empathise with people suffocating geo political concerns put aside in moments of being human.
But hey,,keep vigilent and watch out for scheming people. And if you momma and daddy or sisters look like they are sympathising with the enemy, well you know what to do.

It's no secret that the Russians do acoustic surveillance. They just didn't want us to know the exact location of the thing.
