Hello Peeps, I'm keeping a close eye on Joe Biden, (Chris Wallace F.N.S.)he's wringing his hands over Iraq, "Wishing we would have done what we did in Bosnia."

Chris Wallace asked him to quantify the number of Iraqi Troops trained and RTG, Biden said something moronic, like "8" (actually he said 8 thousand I think) Wallace: "WHAT????"

Biden went on to say, 8 thousand that could fight alone, another 20 or 30 thousand that could fight with assistance, and 10,000 that could do "Absoloutely nothing"

Wallace: "Those are the same numbers you quoted at the Congressional hearings last year, and the Pentagon saif you were crazy."

Biden, "I'll let History speak for itself."

Then he picked up a banjo and started singing; "Gloom Despair, and agony on me, DEEP dark depression excessive misery, if it weren't for BAD luck I'd have no luck at all..." -My paraphrasing here, sos. Hi everyone ;>

Excellent take.
Sounds kinda like how some justices make laws, forget US law now it's the "global" take on issues. I think Novak had it right this is so much BS.

As #33 said, it's a disgrace. I'm glad Brit Hume is on it. He has the stature to make the MSM take notice.

Age requirments probably differ by state, and adopting out of country may not have a limitation a state might. Truth is, I don't know any more about it and have never been associated with an adoption.

He also states that Roe v. Wade is a law made by judges and can be overturned by judges.

Good catch. I thought the Constitution stated that the Congress, as the representatives of the people, is the lawful body to make law. The Supremes just verify said law's adherence to the Constitution. Thanks, Mario, you gave us proof about you and your leftist thinking process! Anti-Constitutionists!

It will be a sad day if that happens you have always led other countries in showing how intigrated your various cultures are whilst maybe not loosing all of their origins they have always been Americans first.

I read this morning that Judge Roberts and his wife did not wed until 96 (I think) when they were each 41 yo, so perhaps they might have had difficulty in adopting in this country because of their age.

I also read that the NYT is backtracking...denying that they had tried to find a way to open the sealed adoption papers for the Roberts children. They're now saying that they had dropped that initial avenue, which was only a part of their legitimate investigation into his background. IMO public outrage gave them pause, but they'll cook up some pejoratives, I'm sure.

This is apparently a new Newsweek poll that has disapproval of President Bush's handling of Iraq at 62% and his overall apporval at 42%. This is not good.

Total disgrace because at the end of the day it is the children you are hurting as I have read or heard elsewhere lets hope they knew they were adopted because if not they obviously had to be told in a great hurry before they heard it on TV.

Interesting. Netanyahu is very principled and he's probably having problems with the Gaza pull out. He's also an expert on terrorism. ... Just heard my guess as fact on FNC. I hope he's wrong about fearing upcoming problems, but I wouldn't bet against his wisdom.

If anyone wants to listen to an empty windbag who loves the sound of his own voice, I recommend Cuomo on MTP. Prof. Kmiec who is on with him is very impressive.

I'm having an allergy attack just reading the line up here on FR.

Has to be the most anti administration crew in ages.

No one worth watching or even reading about.

Speaking of the "Power Host of the Week", was Chris Wallace's recent absence due to elective plastic surgery? His face appears smooth and cherubic. Did I miss the announcement or am I just off base? (In any event, he is still a poor host for Fox's flagship news program).

On the contrary, CSPIN does screen. Have you noticed they often have graphics to accompany the caller's rant.

They have become a wholly paid subsidiary of the DNC.

g'day, snugs ... in the US most adoptions now seem to be of children from outside the country ... Asia, South America, Eastern Europe. That's true even for younger couples. My nephew and his wife adopted a Russian baby, my neighborhood is replete with South American children. Seems American girls opt for abortion rather than putting a baby up for adoption. Sad commentary on our country and our times.

Mario has lost his mind, he is supposed to be a Catholic but I guess he did not take orders from the Pope because he was a Pro-abort from the get go. He did everything possible in NY to make sure that every possible baby could be aborted. He even was against the death penalty for Heinous murderers, but he would not cut the pre-born any slack at all,and he proved beyond a doubt that he feels the murderers have rights but the babies do not. He was a sick young man, now he is an even sicker old man.
