"The Democrats picked a RINO style candidate and STILL lost".What does that say about the popular support for the National Democrats far to the left agenda? Right. He is a Kerry lite. He is Iraq war veteran in Ohio. On national media, he is anti-war, anti-Bush & calling Bush SOB. In the end, he got what Kerry got.

Cuomo was speaking for all Catholics. That was the kicker.

That is true about Dr. Deb and her poll scrutinizing. I think the RNC should order a poll done with the reverse Pubbie-Dummmocrat ratio and then print the outcome as Gospel. Can you imagine the screaming from the left, if they surveyed 49% Pubbies?

It is very sad but many people with many agendas get on this type of bandwagon and twist it to what they want normally to make money or discredit someone.

Cuomo was speaking for all Catholics. That was the kicker. Cuomo is a smooth talker and he might be able to sway the older voters ... but he's not's gonna sway the younger voters

The polls are designed to further the media's agenda. Media's agenda is everywhere. When 30 countries join with US Iraq war effort, it is unilateral. But U.S & U.K successfully rescue Russians from submarine accident, it 's called international rescue effort.

Stuffy stephy just ran the "Novak" scene, first time I actually got to see it. Novak is a cool guy, still in his 70's drives a Corvette and takes no crap from anyone. This will be CNN's loss and their numbers will now go below the toilet and into the sewer where their entire network belongs.

Yeah, an Iraq war vet who served as a Civil Affairs Officer and was careful to never correct the false impression put about by the Dinosaur Media that he was a "Iraqi Combat Veteran" or "an Iraqi War Hero". There were a surprising number of Freepers who had to be educated that he was NOT a Combat Officer. So what do you suppose was going on in the mind of the average voter who doesn't pay nearly as much attention to this crap? That misrepresentation alone probably got him 5% of the vote in a place like Ohio. Another thing, he was really, really careful to spew the Populist "Us gainst the big guys" pro-small business propaganda and the pro gun line. What the Dims are missing is they ran a Clinton style campaign of pretending to be Republican Lite and STILL lost

Great point, by the way what was the medical report on the Russians have not seen any news this morning and when I went to bed early this morning they had just got them out and were awaiting medical assessment.

Did I miss Novak 'storming' off the set? The man uses a cane and can barely get around. Didn't see any 'storming' at all.
CNN chose to say it was about Valerie Plame....just another LIE.
I wish Novak would write a tell all about CNN.
But then after the Eason Jordan revelations, nothing would surprise me.

Does the man in the street though actually take notice of these polls or are they just media talk, I know in the UK we see polls but the majority of people ignore them if this is true for the US why should the President pander to them. Unfortunately, most of the citizens over here haven't the foggiest notion about government, politics, etc.. They do get "soundbites", even if they only come on the hour or half hour when the news interrupts their "music" radio program.
When a distorted poll like the AP/Ipsos poll is mentioned, it is never described in detail, but in a ten or fifteen second sound-bite, e.g. "Bush's approval took a big drop today, in a new poll".
That's what the idiots hear and many of them, like sheep, join the crowd.
Some of the poll takers and MSM know this and they use the polls to influence the uninformed.
To: Patriot from Philly
You mean the poll that interviewed 10% more Dems than Republicans???

Brilliant idea OldFriend for Novak to write a book.
I can sort of tell he is chomping at the bit to tell the real story about Plame but he is one of the few journalists left that still plays by the rules. He will tell when it's time to do so.
