If this is true, the parents should be executed.

Sick..and the perps should be executed. That being said, I'm guessing the article is slanted against foreign adoption because Russia is having a heck of a problem with an aging population.

Not did these people kill their own, but indirectly doomed thousands of russian/easter european children to "life" in a system that makes our Child Protective Services look like Disneyworld.
God forgive me, but I hope they rot in Hell.

It seems plausible that the boy's condition and death are due to his cystic fibrosis, which is mentioned as only an afterthought in this article, yet would be very relevant to charges of starvation, as it affects digestion.

Even if some of these horrible incidents are true, the article seems to be written to agitate Russian nationalism against the US as if all future adoptions are to be suspected. It smells of Pravda...

Numerous "family friends" and relatives claim the accusations are false [...] Denis died from his own numerous diseases. Well then, all they need to do is get the kid's pediatrician to come forward and tell what what they were trying to do to help this poor boy.
Meanwhile, doctors clearly stated that the boy had died an ultimate stage of emaciation.
Ooooh, sorry. That's gonna leave a mark. Only one thing left to say!

Drats... "Pravda" uncovered our secret plan to defeat Russia by adopting their kids one at a time than then killing them.

As opposed to the thousands of Russian kids dying from starvation in Russia, or from other abuses beyond the perverted imagination of these people.

Article on AOL News less than a week ago: "Never too early to fight childhood obesity."
Sounds like these SOB so-called parents deserve to ride the lightning. Probably quote some pseudoscience pablum / weirdo diet religion to justify their abuse. A$$holes.

A little bit of clarification, although I am no apologist for the Sun, the recent article about this boy's death was written after the coroner decided on the legal cause of death - manslaughter, as opposed to accidental.

Americans are such barbarians. We steal all of Russia's best looking women and now their kids too?

CF kids sometimes die of the effects of lack of digestion and lack of air.

You wouldn't know it from this article. Unless you read it closely and in detail, you wouldn't even know the kid had CF.

I do not believe that Manslaughter is an official cause of death. Manslaughter is a legal not a medical term. Clearly this child did not die from an accident.
