A superior candidate such as Pirro unfortunately does not mean much as far as winning a liberal state such as NY is concerned; however, I agree that Hillary can be put over a barrel when her previous winning margin is cut in half, as is quite possible against Pirro. As Dick Morris points out, it will create a great question to put to Hillary: "How do you account for winning reelection by half the margin you originally received?" She will have no acceptable answer.

Of course she will. She will simply say that every right wing wacko extremist targeted her out of simple envy and hate. The press will lap it up as will the Dem base. The rest of American will yawn five minutes after the election is over and won't remember whether it was a landslide or a close race.
