It's $2,60 here in Atlanta. $2.29 last week. What the hell is going on? I have a 40 mile commute, one way. At what point does the government step in and help out? They are part of the problem in the first place with this by not allowing drilling in America. This is going to affect the economy at some point.

At what point does the government step in and help out? That would be socialism.

Or, at least not until you do something about that 40-mile commute.

My son quit his job last week because of the commute and gas prices. He can't be the only one.

I have a 40 mile commute, one way. At what point does the government tax payers step in and help out? At no point should I have to support your choice of place to live. I have moved due to where I worked before, I didn't ask you to help pay my expenses, why should I pay yours?

At what point does the government step in and help out? Free market and less gov't is the usual call from Conservatives.

Yeah the gov't is part of the problem - nearly half of the $2.50/gal I pay (out by Lawrenceville - where might you be? PM me, sandbar...) is TAXES.
Yes, folks: half of your gasoline bill is TAXES.
Why aren't we hearing an outcry to that effect?
