Glad to seem that somebody else recognizes Dalton's contributions.
License To Kill was the darkest Bond film, and they should have taken it from there. Less witty clips, less CGI animation and more realistic and pertinent violence.
Remember Bond in "Dr. No";
"You've had your six."
And he shoots the guy in cold blood.
I should add that it's time for EON to go. They are out of ideas. I have no faith in their plans to re-do Casino Royal as a politically correct modern adaptation.
Dalton has never been given his due as an actor.
I believe Dalton's work was the closest thing to Ian Fleming's Bond.
