Used as in "dirty Jew" - or "Jew boy" or "Jew couple" it certainly is a slur. But again - any religious or racial commentary by a barmaid is just inappropriate.

And, it proves an old adage my mother passed on to me. Never put anything in writing that you wouldn't want read in a court of law...:)
