LOL!!! You clearly don't either don't understand me or don't understand punctuated equilibrium. No biologist who ever advocated punctuated equilibrium ever meant for that to mean that creatures started poofing into existence! LOL!!
What I am telling you is a fundamental principle recognized by any scientist. It is the time continuum. Nature is seen to change smoothly with time. That's why Newton's laws of motion work. That's why calculus works. That's why partial differential equations are so useful at modelling the world. WHATEVER process you observe over time, be it puncutated equilibrium, or some other change, on some scale it is always seen to be the result of "little bitty changes".
Who do you think God's will functioned differently over the millions of years before human history than it does now? Because I promise you, we do NOT see this poofing that you say is the way He does things.
And of course, we don't have to presume such nonsense anyway to explain what we see in the fossil record. So why do it?
